Have A Rousing Night of Fun in an Ipswich Corn Maze

Our family has quite a few fall traditions. One of our newest favorite activities is to go to an Ipswich corn maze. I remember that the corn mazes of my youth were not much more than a bunch of corn stalks with rows and paths cut throughout the field. Today’s mazes are intricate and complicated. In fact, the typical corn maze usually has a theme, and if you have a chance to see the maze from the air, you will see words and interesting pictures cut into the field of corn.

One of the things our family loves best about Ipswich corn mazes is the fact that at least one of us usually gets lost. We have only done these mazes for the past couple of years, so we are definitely still novices. There is always that moment of panic when we realize that someone in our group has become separated from the rest of us. The first time this happened to me, I was too embarrassed to call out to my family. However, as I heard a number of voices from other lost souls, I realized that I would probably not find them very quickly if I did not start yelling. The best part of going through Ipswich corn mazes is seeing who can find their way out the fastest. The mazes usually close down by the end of October, so it is wise to go early in the season.
